The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Akure Branch, has extended its condolences to the family of the late Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Ondo State Government, and the people of Akure Kingdom over his sudden demise.
In a statement signed by the Branch Chairman, Engr. Oluwaseun D. Adeyeye, the NSE described Hon. Oluwatuyi as a dedicated statesman, grassroots politician, and philanthropist whose unwavering commitment to the progress of Ondo State remains commendable.
“Our heartfelt sympathies go to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and the Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade, over this painful loss of a great achiever and an illustrious son of Akure Kingdom,” the statement read.
The NSE acknowledged the remarkable life and legacy of Hon. Oluwatuyi, expressing hope that his memory would inspire continued progress in the state.
“As we reflect on his remarkable life and good legacy, may the Almighty God grant his immediate family, loved ones, and the people of Ondo State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement added.
