No One Can Sack Me From PDP — Wike Fires Back at Critics

By Charles Maduka

Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has dismissed calls for his expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party, declaring that no one has the authority or courage to remove him.

Speaking during a media session in Abuja on Monday, Wike reaffirmed his membership in the PDP and challenged those questioning his place in the party to prove they had contributed more than he has.

“I am still in the PDP. I worked hard for the party,” he said. “I have not seen anybody who will have the guts to tell me, ‘Wike, you are not a member of the party.’ Who is that? What is his contribution to the party that is more than mine?”

Wike’s remarks come amid rising tension within the PDP over his involvement in the current administration and his shifting political influence.

Despite the controversy, the former Rivers State governor made it clear that his loyalty to the party remains strong and that he would not be forced out under any circumstances.
