Nigerians expected more from APC govt, says El-Rufai

The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has admitted that Nigerians expected more from the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government.

He said while such was within their rights, the citizens must also reflect on the situation before the APC government took over in 2015 and compare it with the Peoples Democratic Party’s administrations.

El-Rufai, who disclosed this on Wednesday as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, argued that with the situation in 2014 and current reality, APC remains the best option for Nigerians.

“I think Nigerians expect much more than we have done but if Nigerians reflect deeply and compare with the other party, we are still a better choice,” the governor said.

Furthermore, El-Rufai boasted that with the current situation, the ruling party would win the presidential election and several governorship elections across the country.

He said, “I believe that in 2023, the APC is going to win the presidential election as well as the majority of the governorship elections.”
