National Sports Festival Suffers Postponement

The 2022 National Sports Festival tagged ‘Delta 2022’ has been postponed by the organiser.

After the completion of the zonal qualifiers, the qualified teams have begun preparations for the events.

It was earlier scheduled to hold between the 2nd of November and to 15th of the same month but according to the press release from the Local Organising Committee it has now been postponed.

The new date indicated that it will now run from the 28th of November to the 10th of December at the same venue.

The reason stated for the postponement is that the facilities are yet to be completed.

The organisers further apologised to the participating states for the inconvenience they might have cost them.
