Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, senator representing Kogi Central, has accused the senate leadership of attempts to suppress her voice.
She stated that efforts are being made to suspend her, adding that she has faced intimidation since assuming office.
Her concerns follow a disagreement with Senate President Godswill Akpabio over a recent change in her seating position.
She believes the move was intentional to reduce her visibility and limit her contributions during debates.
Akpoti-Uduaghan also claimed she has been excluded from key international events and denied official travel opportunities.
She alleged that her removal from a senate committee was linked to suspicions that she was shifting resources away from the Niger Delta region.
Despite these challenges, she expressed determination to continue her work, even if it means funding her own participation in international events.
