Popular Nigerian TikToker, Amadou Elizabeth, popularly known as Jarvis, has revealed that her mother is seriously ill, expressing fear that social media users may use her mother’s condition against her online. She made this known in an emotional video that surfaced on social media.
In the video shared by hushbobby_media on Instagram, Jarvis said she has been worried that people might secretly record her sick mother and circulate the footage online to attack her. She described social media as a harsh space, noting that she has always tried to keep her mother’s health condition private to avoid public ridicule and backlash.
The content creator said she expects online critics to question why she has not taken better care of her mother despite her perceived wealth. However, she explained that her mother’s condition has gone beyond what money can fix, stressing that the situation is now left to God, fate and belief rather than material support.
Jarvis also spoke emotionally about her upbringing, praising her mother for raising the family alone without support from their father, who is from Senegal. She said her mother fought hard, defended her children and made sacrifices to ensure they survived despite the absence of a father figure in their lives.
She further disclosed that she has been trying to reconnect with her estranged father, whom she said used to call her Aminata during her childhood before communication stopped completely. Jarvis revealed that she has not heard from him since then and has travelled to Senegal in search of him, adding that she is still making efforts to reconnect.
