Like Tinubu, VP Shettima Departs Nigeria For Conference

Vice President Kashim Shettima left Abuja on Wednesday for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where he will attend the opening of the 2024 International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources (SIREXE).

The conference, running from November 27 to December 2, will take place at the Abidjan Exhibition Centre.

Shettima’s participation in the event follows an invitation from the country’s Vice President, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné.

The Vice President’s office confirmed that the gathering will focus on strategies for the sustainable development of the extractive and energy sectors.

During the conference, Shettima will share Nigeria’s expertise in hydrocarbon exploration and production. His return to Abuja is scheduled for later today.
