Lagos Guber Poll: 12 Political Parties Deny Endorsing Sanwo-Olu Ahead of 2019 Election

Twelve political parties which were previously listed among the 45 that allegedly adopted the candidacy of the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, have denied being part of the team of those who adopted him.

Daily Trust reported that the representatives of the 12 political parties also urged the leadership of the APC, Lagos State chapter to be wary of people who impersonate as leaders of political parties.

Speaking on behalf of the parties, the Acting State Chairman, Independent Democracy (ID), Mr. Kolawole Sunday said they did not endorse Sanwo-Olu as their candidate.

The parties that participated in the press conference were Allied Peoples Movement (APM), ACCORD, Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), Coalition For Change (C4C), Change Appropriate Party (CAP), Nigerian Peoples Party (NPC), Democratic Alternative (DA), Rebuild Nigeria Party (RBNP), United Progressive Party (UPP), Action Alliance (AA), Alliance For Democracy (AD) and Democratic People’s Congress (DPC).
