Israel Closes Embassies Worldwide as Attack on Iran Escalates

The Israeli government has shut down all its diplomatic missions around the world as military operations continue in Iran.

The closure means Israeli citizens overseas will not be able to access consular services for now.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed citizens abroad to fill out an online form with their current location and contact information.

It also asked those in urgent need to call the ministry’s emergency line.

Israeli citizens outside the country were advised to stay away from public activities linked to Israel, avoid displaying national items, and stop posting personal or travel updates on social media.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli forces carried out a major airstrike on various military sites across Iran. Targets included facilities linked to nuclear activity.

The attack reportedly killed several high-ranking Iranian military figures, including the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, and IRGC Commander Hossein Salami.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has threatened to respond, warning that Israel has brought trouble upon itself.
