“I still live like a poor man every day. It’s money that chases me instead,” Says Kizz Daniel

Afrobeats singer Kizz Daniel has revealed that he still lives like a “poor man” every day, claiming that money chases him instead of the other way around.

In a post on X, Kizz Daniel stated that wealth does not automatically guarantee happiness. He questioned why happiness seems to diminish when money comes, reflecting on the emotional emptiness that can accompany material wealth.

“Why does happiness always seem to fade when money arrives?” he asked.

The ‘Buga’ hitmaker noted that many wealthy individuals still experience sadness despite their affluence and warned that financial wealth often comes with hidden burdens.

“Lol … I still live like a poor man every day. It’s money that chases me instead,” he said.

“Guys, I’m not saying don’t chase money. I’m just pointing out that with money comes problems. People who have it won’t tell you the truth because they want to feel superior,” he added.

Kizz Daniel also cautioned against idolising money and the illusion of happiness portrayed on social media, which often conceals feelings of loneliness, anxiety, or dissatisfaction.
