How I intend to change Nigerian cinema – Ruth Kadiri

Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has vowed to reform Nigerian cinema.

Kadiri stated this in a post on her Instagram page while assuring her fans and the general public of her commitment to creating a lasting brand that will earn audience trust.

While outlining her vision for the transformation, Kadiri noted that she does not depend on others in the industry for promotion.

She wrote: “The way my brain functions, I ask myself what would become of my brand if I had no promotional help. Truthfully, I do not bank on anyone so when you choose not to offer help, I’m not really bothered.

“I will change the pattern in Nigerian cinema, I promise you all. You will watch my movie not because someone begged you to watch it, but because you trust me. I am here to build a brand of longevity that definitely does not require constant begging.

“I, Ruth Kadiri, am not in a hurry; don’t worry about that. Building a solid structure is all I’m about.”
