How and Why the plane of Nigerian Chief of Army Staff Crashed at runway

It is no more news that the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, has died in an air crash along with some aides while on an official trip to Kaduna State on Friday evening.

While we await the official declaration of the cause of the plane crash, Starnews Nigeria has however gathered from a reliable source at the Kaduna Airport that the plane seems to have crashed by heavy rainfall.

“The plane crash-landed on the runway because of a heavy downpour. That was what happened my brother. I am sure that was also the cause of the crash, probably, the heavy rainfall hindered their safe landing, but I will give you details later”, the source told Starnews Nigeria correspondent on phone.

Starnews Nigeria has further confirmed that other top military officials were also on board.
