Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has reacted to the news of the news of collapsed school building which resulted in the death of a female student in Ondo.
The incident occurred at a primary School in Ondo City around 12noon on Friday during school hours.
A female student of Junior Secondary School 3 whose identity is yet to be confirmed, is the only victim as blocks that fell from the school building landed on her head.
Governor Akeredolu twitted on his verified official Twitter page to sympathise with the family of the victim.
He said “This is Tragic. The Secretary to the State Government is on the scene to assess the situation and I have interfaced with the police. My deepest condolences to her family. May her gentle soul Requiescet in pace.”
