God Keeps Pregnant Woman Alive After Herdsmen Rape Her, Removes Unborn Baby With Stick

Suspected Fulani herdsmen, on Sunday attacked, raped and inserted stones and stick into the private part of a pregnant woman in Yogbo town, Makurdi, the Benue state capital

The incident happened when the woman was relaxing with her husband who escaped when the men started shooting.

They pulled out both the child and the woman’s womb leaving her at the mercy of death.

Upon her husband’s report, soldiers came to pick her corpse but discovered that she was still alive.

She was rushed to Bishop Murray Hospital for treatment.

It was learnt that Mrs. Magdalyne Dura, the Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom, on Development Cooperation, SDGs/ NEPAD; a cleric, Rev Father Mbachie and Mrs. Josephine Haba visited the maternity ward of Saint Theresa’s Hospital Makurdi where the victim is currently receiving treatment.

They were in the hospital to represent a Faith Based Organization which settled bills for the treatment of the pregnant woman.

When contacted by DAILY POST, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, ASP Moses Yamu, however, said he was not aware of the incident.
