God has established you as governor of Oyo, Okunomo congratulates Seyi Makinde

The leading governorship Aspirant of Ondo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Banji Okunomo, Wednesday in Akure, congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State over his victory at the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court on Thursday, ruled in favour of the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, against the decision of the Court of Appeal, sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Supreme court said the appeal court’s majority judgement against Makinde, was not meritorious enough, thereby, setting it aside to uphold the declaration of governor Seyi Makinde by the Independent National Electoral Commission as the duly elected governor of Oyo State.

While congratulating governor Makinde of Oyo State, Okunomo, said the Oyo government led by Makinde had been established by God; and that, no human being on earth can disband what God has established no matter how they try.

“I congratulate governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on his victory at Supreme Court today. No matter the level of conspiracy by the opposition to come through the back door, his administration has been established by God to serve his people. Nobody can disband his government. The Supreme Court judgment is just a confirmation that God has established him to lead his people to the promise land. I wish him well as he continues his good work in Oyo State,” Okunomo said in a telephone interview with Starnews Correspondent.
