Four dead in Osun road accident —FRSC

The Osun Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has reported that four individuals died in a traffic accident on the Osun-Ondo expressway on Sunday.

Osun Sector Commander Taofeeq Sokumbi revealed in an interview with journalists in Osogbo that the accident occurred near Joseph Ayo Babalola University.

He attributed the crash to excessive speeding by the vehicles involved, which resulted in the deaths of four passengers.

Sokumbi cautioned motorists against reckless driving, which poses severe risks to lives and property. He emphasized that the accident was caused by the driver’s negligence and excessive speed.

The injured individuals have been transported to a hospital for treatment, while the bodies of the deceased have been taken to a morgue.

Sokumbi further warned that the FRSC will take stringent action against anyone violating the state’s road safety regulations.
