Fire razes popular School of Technology

 

The Kano State Fire Service has extinguished a fire at Matan Fada School of Technology, located in the Nasarawa Local Government Area.

The incident, which occurred on Monday night, was confirmed by the service’s public relations officer, Saminu Abdullahi, in a statement to journalists on Tuesday in Kano.

He said, “We received a distress call at about 8:28 p.m. from Faisal Dauda that there was a fire incident at the School of Technology.

Upon receiving the information, we quickly sent a fire vehicle to the scene at about 8:34 p.m. to bring the fire under control.’’

Mr Abdullahi said that the building of 500 x 500 feet with nine classes and six offices, totalling 15, was completely razed down.He also said that no life was lost and the cause of the fire was being investigated.
