Fire outbreak at Pinnacle filling station extinguished, no loss of life – Police

A fire broke out at Pinnacle Filling Station on Agbani Road, Enugu, early Friday morning, September 20, 2024.

Fortunately, swift action from federal and state fire services contained the blaze, preventing any loss of life. DSP Daniel Ndukwe, Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident.

Three vehicles waiting to refuel were damaged, but police intervention restored order.

Preliminary investigations suggest fuel leakage from one of the vehicles may have sparked the fire.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State CID will conduct the investigation. The Commissioner of Police’s prompt action ensures a thorough probe into the incident’s cause and measures to prevent similar occurrences.
