Fire guts petrol tank in Abuja filling station

A fire broke out at the Mainland Oil and Gas filling station at Dutse junction along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja on Thursday around 5:30 p.m.

An anonymous witness reported that the blaze started while a tanker, which had not yet unloaded its fuel, was at the station. Panic ensued as someone alerted others waiting in line for fuel.

Firefighters and security personnel quickly responded to the scene to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of lives and property.

As of the latest update, no casualties have been reported.
