The Senior Special Adviser on Policy, Strategy and Speeches to Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the Ekiti State Governor, Gboyega Ajayi at the weekend hosted the All Progressive Congress (APC) party faithful in his hometown, Ikoro Ekiti.
He used the occasion to thank the party faithful for their commitment and loyalty to the party and Governor Kayode Fayemi. He enjoined the leadership and members of the APC to sustain their support for the Governor so that he could continue to keep pace with his developmental projects in the community and the state as a whole.
He also used the occasion of the get-together to drum support for the gubernatorial aspiration of Hon. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, BAO, stressing that it was necessary to support him for the continuity of the legacy projects of the Governor some of which the community had benefitted tremendously from.
The SSA who chronicled the legacy projects of the Fayemi-led administration which drew applause from the visibly joyous party faithful, further urged then to sustain their loyalty to the governor for more benefits.
In his words,”Let me thank you profoundly for the support and loyalty to my principal, Governor Kayode Fayemi. I am indeed proud to announce to you that the governor has justified the confidence you repose on him through your support since the inception of his administration by the number of projects he had embarked upon in our town and the state in general. I assure you more are still coming as long as you continue to display your unalloyed loyalty to him.”
He admonished the party faithful to extend the level of support accorded to the Governor to the gubernatorial aspiration of BAO for the continuity of the legacy projects in the community.
Responding, the APC ward chairman, Hon. Eniola Olomu, thanked the SSA for his dedication and organisational skills, which he said had been instrumental to the oneness of the party members in the community.
He said the leadership and the support for the ward Exco had been responsible for the steady growth of the party in the town.
He equally thanked the Governor, Dr. Femi Thomas and other progressive leaders for being the strong pillar behind the ward Exco as well as all the party members in the community.
Also, while addressing the party members via teleconferencing, Dr. Femi Thomas, thanked the Governor for all he had done for the community. He urged the people to continue to support the policies and actions of the Governor for a sustained socioeconomic development.
