This follows recent stampedes at palliative distribution events, which led to tragic losses.
In Abuja, a stampede at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Maitama claimed the lives of at least 10 people, including children, while 10 others sustained injuries.
Meanwhile, in Okija, Anambra State, 22 individuals were reported dead during a Christmas rice distribution organized by the Obijackson Foundation.
The devastating incidents reflect the growing desperation among citizens grappling with hunger and poverty.
Sharing news reports about the incidents, the ex-Ondo first lady said, “Hunger has turned Nigeria to Somalia. This is Ikegwuru (tiring) Situation!”
