In a message of hope signed by Akinrinlola Olumide, his Media Aide, Otunba Nicholas Tofowomo, Senator-elect of Ondo South, has appealed to all Christians in his Senatorial district to pray for the development and growth of Ondo South and Nigeria at large as the world marks Easter, the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ this weekend.

Tofowomo who prayed unto God to recover all lost grounds in Ondo South, however, assured his constituents of better days, promising to provide quality and productive representation at the red chamber of the National Assembly after inauguration of the 9th Senate.

The statement reads:

“As the world marks Easter, the celebration of death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ for the redemption of Mankind, I appeal to all Christians in my Senatorial district to pray for the growth and development of Ondo South and Nigeria at large.

“It is my prayer that God Almighty will recover all the lost grounds in Ondo South and compensate us for the years the locust and canker worms have eaten.”

“I assure you, I will not disappoint you. I hate docility; and so, I can never be a docile representative. I will provide quality and productive representation at the red chamber of the National Assembly after inauguration of the 9th Senate.”
