The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the postponement of the opening date for its recruitment portal, which was earlier scheduled to go live on December 1, 2025.

In a public statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd), the CDCFIB said the portal would now open “as soon as possible” to enable shortlisted candidates complete their physical screening and document verification.

The Board urged applicants to regularly visit the official recruitment website, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, for updates on the new opening date.

While apologising for the inconvenience caused by the delay, the CDCFIB expressed appreciation for the patience and interest of applicants participating in the recruitment exercise.

Further announcements, according to the Board, will be communicated through its official portal and social media channels.
