Adegboruwa faults Fashola’s ‘discovery’ of camera at Lekki tollgate
Human rights lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN), has faulted the supposed discovery of a video camera recorder by the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola (SAN), at the Lekki toll plaza on Sunday. Adegboruwa said this in a statement on Monday titled, ‘Usurpation of powers of the panel of inquiry on SARS abuses’. Masked thugs fully armed to the teeth have taken over Lokoja the Kogi State Capital. They have been shooting sporadically since 9:30 am from zone eight, down to Ganaja junction, Paparanda square, old market road, Nataco, making many residents to scamper for safety. Hoodlums raid another warehouse in Abuja
Hoodlums Monday morning brazenly looted relief palliatives after breaking into another warehouse in Gwagwalada, in Gwagwalada Area Council of FCT. The warehouse, near West African Examination Council (WAEC) office, is said to contain items belonging to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). Some of the hoodlums carted away bags of rice and cartons of noodles, cartons of milk and tin tomatoes among others. Some of the items were taken away on motorcycles and tricycles. A group of people suspected to be hoodlums have burnt down the police station situated in Orile-Iganmu Local Government Area of Lagos State. Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred around 09.45 am.
