Governor Nasir El-Rufai has presented the 2022 draft budget of N233 billion to Kaduna State House of Assembly, with a capital expenditure of N146 billion and recurrent spending of N87.6 billion. Giving a further breakdown of the N233billion budget estimate, the governor disclosed that it has a capital to recurrent ratio of 63% : 37%. Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a lecturer of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba- Akoko, AAUA, Ondo State. The lecturer, Mr Mayowa David Adinlewa was kidnapped over the weekend along the deplorable Akure-Ikere-Ekiti Highway. Adinlewa was said to be on his way from Akungba to visit his family at Ikere in Ekiti State when the gunmen waylaid him on the road.
