The president’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Thursday delivered the President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nominee list to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, at the plenary.
Prominent among the nominees are Bunmi Tunji Ojo, former governors Nyesom Wike, Nasir El-Rufai, and David Umahi.
Others are the acting APC chairman, Abba Kyari, Senator John Enoh, Hon. Nkiru Onyejiocha, and Dele Alake.
Abubakar Momoh, Ambassador Yusuf Tukur, Ahmed Dangiwa, Hannatu Musawa, Uche Nnaji, Berta Edu, Dorris Uzoka, and Wale Edun also made the list.
Senator Akpabio read the letter from the president and said the list was not exhaustive as more names will be sent to the Senate for confirmation in due course.

Others are Mr. Bello Muhammad G, Mr. Dele Alake, Mr. Lateef Fagbemi SAN, Mr. Muhammad Idris, Mr. Olawale Edun, Mr. Waheed Adebayo Adelabu, Mrs Iman Suleiman Ibrahim, Professor Ali Pate, Professor Joseph, Senator Abubakar Kyari, Senator John Eno and Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi.
