Authorities in Saudi Arabia have announced the sighting of the Shawwal crescent moon on Saturday, marking the conclusion of Ramadan. As a result, Eid al-Fitr will be observed on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
The declaration was made through Haramain’s official Facebook page, a widely recognized source of Islamic updates.
“The crescent moon for Shawwal 1446 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025,” the statement read.
