BREAKING: Ondo SS3 Student wins presidential award scholarship to PhD level

A 16- year-old Adedowole Oluwajuwon Benjamin has won the Young Nigerian Scientists Presidential Award (774 – YONSPA 2022).

Adedowole from Owo Local Government Area in Ondo State came second at the 774 YONSPA National Competition held on Monday, November 21, 2022, in Abuja.

Starnews Nigeria gathered that the boy has been given a Presidential award of full scholarship up to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) level in any science-related discipline of his choice at any university by President Muhammadu Buhari with a prize of N750, 000 (Seven Hundred And Fifty Thousand Naira Only).

Starnews Nigeria reports that the award presentation will be officially done in Abuja on January 16, 2023.

Adedowole is an SS3 student of Greater Tomorrow International College, Arigidi Akoko, Ondo State, and the first child of Mrs Adedowole Florence, the former Head of Department of Mass Communication in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State.
