Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State have unanimously ratified the suspension of Fatai Adams for anti-party activities.
Starnews NG had reported that the State Working Committee (SWC) earlier suspended the State Chairman on Tuesday, 2nd January, 2024 – a decision that was ratified by the State Executive Committee (SEC) of the party two days after.
In a statement on Wednesday by Kennedy Ikantu Peretei, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, the Ondo State PDP leaders and stakeholders from across the eighteen Local Government Areas of the state gathered at the party secretariat in Akure to endorse Adam’s suspension.
Starnews NG reports that the stakeholders also endorsed the appointment of Basorun Tola Alebere as Acting Chairman pending when the Disciplinary Committee takes a final decision on Fatai Adams.
“The party wishes to deeply appreciate all the organs of the party for their unflinching support, devotion and dedication to the course of the party”, part of the statement added..
