BREAKING: NLC President, Joe Ajaero Arrested In Imo

 

The President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero has been arrested by the Police in Imo state.

Recalled that the NLC had on Sunday, announced plans to protest in Imo from Nov. 1. over alleged violation and abuse of rights and privileges of workers by the State government.

Ajaero was arrested on Wednesday at the ongoing NLC protest in Imo.

This is as miscreants have descended on protesters, smashing vehicles and inflicting wounds on labour members.

As of the time of filling this report, the whereabouts of the NLC President is unknown as heavily armed security personnel took him away.
