BREAKING: Makinde finally reacts, says no controversy on Olubadan stool

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has addressed the issue surrounding the Olubadan stool, affirming that there are no conflicts involved.

He cautioned against those who seek to create discord, emphasizing the importance of unity for the state’s progress.

Makinde made these remarks during a gathering at his residence in Ikolaba, Ibadan, the state capital, on Wednesday, where he welcomed Muslim faithful, members of his cabinet, and other government officials.

Also, the governor stated that he has yet to receive any official communication from the Olubadan-in-Council regarding nominations for the stool.

He wondered why some people were focusing on things that divide the state along traditional lines, saying there’s no place for that under his watch.
