BREAKING: AAUA Female Student Found Dead

Modupe Ayandare, a 500-level Agronomy student at Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko (AAUA) in Ondo State, was found dead this morning in Akungba, located in the Akoko South West local government area.

The discovery was made around 4 a.m. on Monday, with Miss Ayandare found dressed in white church attire.

According to sources, she had left her hostel to attend a vigil on Sunday night and allegedly took her own life while returning from the church program. However, this account has not been confirmed.

Contrary to the suicide allegation, a video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by user @YemieFash suggests a different scenario. The video and eyewitness accounts imply that her death might not be a suicide.

@YemieFash commented, “The circumstances surrounding her death look very suspicious; video and eyewitness accounts show that she did not commit suicide as presumed. I am calling on the @OndopoliceNG to critically investigate this matter, as this looks more like a case of murder.”

The Ondo State Police Command has acknowledged the incident, confirming it was reported at the Akungba Police Division.
