Boat mishap: Pope’s make up artist buried at river bank

The makeup artist of the late actor Pope Odowondo, also known as Junior Pope, Abigail Frederick, has reportedly been laid to rest along the banks of the River Niger in Anambra State.

According to a tweet from @Lion_Heart_OT in the early hours of Friday, Abigail’s burial by the river was due to her family’s inability to afford the necessary arrangements to transport her remains to their hometown in Akwa Ibom for burial.

This follows the tragic boat accident that claimed the lives of four actors, including Junior Pope, just two days ago.

In response to the tweet, a user named Cyndykamso speculated about the possibility of multiple graves, suggesting that Abigail may not have been the only one buried there.

Another user, Paddleoflagos, simply wrote, “Rest on,” expressing condolences for the deceased.
