Beware of Fake Job Adverts, NNPCL Warns

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has alerted the public to be cautious about fraudulent recruitment advertisements circulating online. According to the company, it is not hiring at the moment and any job openings will be shared only through its verified platforms.

NNPCL issued this warning on Friday via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, urging job seekers not to fall for fake adverts. The company assured that it maintains a fair and transparent hiring process, and applicants do not need any outside help to secure positions.

Nigerians were advised to ignore unofficial job postings claiming to represent NNPCL, as such adverts are often linked to scammers. The company also encouraged the public to report any suspicious recruitment activities to the appropriate authorities.

NNPCL emphasized that it remains committed to keeping the recruitment process fair and will announce any genuine hiring opportunities through its official website and verified social media pages.
