Armed Robbers Stab Suleja Resident, Steal Mobile Phone

A man identified as Abubakar Murtar was attacked and stabbed by suspected armed robbers in Suleja, Niger State, during the early hours of Sunday.

The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on Church Road, where Murtar was ambushed and dispossessed of his mobile phone.

Lukman Abdullahi, who reported the attack to the ‘A’ Division Police Station, confirmed that the assailants stabbed Murtar in the neck before fleeing with his belongings.

The victim was rushed to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital in Abuja, where he is currently receiving medical care.

Security operatives have since launched an investigation to apprehend the culprits, while residents have been advised to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement agencies.
