Armed robbers kill Kogi man after bank transaction

Armed robbers unleashed violence on Friday by targeting a man as he exited a new generation bank, robbing him of an undisclosed amount of money and fatally shooting him.

According to eyewitnesses, the robbers trailed the man from the bank to Phase II, Lokongoma, where they ambushed his vehicle in front of the market. They forcibly dragged him out, fired several shots, and fled with a bag containing the money he had withdrawn.

Efforts to obtain a response from the Kogi Police Command regarding the incident were unsuccessful, as calls to the spokesperson went unanswered.
