Akpabio’s Aide Accuses Senator Natasha of Budget Inflation

Onyema, a special assistant to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has accused Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of adding ₦30 billion to the budget while leading the Local Content Committee.

He made this claim on Tuesday during a pro-Akpabio demonstration in Abuja, where supporters gathered to defend the Senate President against allegations of sexual harassment.

According to Onyema, Senator Natasha’s accusation against Akpabio came after she was removed from the Local Content Committee.

He alleged that she had asked to be reinstated in exchange for settling her issues with the Senate President.

He dismissed her claims, saying there was no proof to support them.

Onyema further stated that Akpabio had been a respected leader for many years and had never faced such accusations before.

He urged Nigerians to focus on the truth, insisting that the senator should provide evidence if her claims were valid.

He also called on women not to support Natasha, challenging her to publicly present any proof she had.
