Akeredolu Was A warrior, Fought Tirelessly – AfDB President

 

President of the African Development Bank, AfDB, Akinwunmi Adesina has mourned the death of Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

Akeredolu died in Lagos hospital on Wednesday at the age of 67.

He died after a long battle with Leukemia.

Reacting to the news of his death on his official X, Akinwunmi described the late governor as his friend and brother.

“I am saddened by the passing away of my friend and brother, Governor Akeredolu of Ondo State.

“You fought a good fight. You finished the race. You were kind-hearted. You served your people with commitment. May God comfort your family and the people of Ondo State. Adieu Aketi.”
