Air Peace Offers Free Evacuation, Medical Care for Trafficked Nigerian Girls in Ivory Coast

Air Peace has announced plans to bring Nigerian girls, who were trafficked to the Ivory Coast, back home.

The airline has also committed to providing them with free medical services.

The company’s chairman, Dr. Allen Onyema, made the announcement after an activist, Martins Vincent Otse, raised concern about the plight of these underaged Nigerian girls.

Onyema expressed his deep concern over the trafficking of these young girls and condemned the act as both inhumane and immoral.

In response, Air Peace pledged to cover the cost of their flights back to Nigeria and offer free medical exams and treatments at Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja.

Onyema also urged the Nigerian embassy in Ivory Coast to coordinate the return process and called on the Nigerian government to assist with the girls’ education and help reunite them with their families once they return.
