Air Chief rallies troops to strengthen onslaught against terrorists

Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has urged air personnel deployed in conflict zones to remain unwavering in their duty to defend the nation and protect its citizens from criminal elements.

During a visit to airmen stationed in Kaduna on Tuesday, the Air Chief commended their efforts but stressed the need to intensify air operations to root out insurgents, terrorists, and bandits.

According to a statement issued by the Nigerian Air Force, Abubakar reminded the troops that although progress has been made, more work lies ahead.

“We have made significant strides, but this is no time for complacency,” he said.

“We must continue to push forward, delivering relentless air power to dismantle terrorist strongholds and neutralize threats.”

He also emphasized the importance of maintaining public confidence in the military’s ability to protect the country.

“As we commemorate 61 years of dedicated service, it is vital that we provide our fellow Nigerians with renewed hope,” he noted. “They must see in us a force that remains ever ready, focused, and committed to preserving peace across the nation.”
