Aide reacts to reports of Taye Currency slumping in London

Mr. Tope Eluyefa, the media aide to Ibadan-born Fuji musician, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi, also known as Taye Currency, has denied a media report that the musician was rushed to a London hospital after collapsing at a live performance.

Eluyefa dismissed the report on Wednesday.

Taye Currency is currently in London, United Kingdom, for some live performances.

Eluyefa, in a telephone conversation, said he called the musician immediately he saw the online reports and it was revealed that nothing of such happened to him.

“It is not true. I called him this morning. We spoke around 8:30am.

“Ask them where he slumped. All his performances are recorded live. He is at home now,” he said.
