AFCON: Super Eagles to face Angola after disgracing Lion of Cameroon, see date, time

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Palancas Negras of Angola in the quarter-finals of the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Both sides defeated their opponents on Saturday to set up a tie in the last eight of the AFCON.

Gelson Dala scored twice to help Angola shrugged off the early dismissal of goalkeeper Neblu to beat 10-man Namibia.

Mabululu’s neat finish following a quick counter-attack midway through the second half sealed the win and advanced the Palancas Negras to the last eight for the first time since 2010.

For Nigeria, Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman scored twice in each half to help Nigeria get past five-time Champions, Cameroon on Saturday, and seal a place in the last eight.
