The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has inaugurated a new Executive Committee for Ondo West Local Government Area as part of its move to strengthen its grassroots structure and reinforce its claim of offering Nigerians a credible political alternative.
The inauguration, held on November 19, 2025 at the party secretariat in Okelisa, Ondo City, is the first in a series expected to take place across the eighteen local government areas of Ondo State.
This was contained in a statement e-signed by the Publicity Secretary of the ADC in Ondo West Local Government, Sam Akinwale.
The ceremony, which commenced at about 3:00 p.m., drew key party leaders, including former Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifedayo Akinsoyinu, and former member of the state legislature, Hon. (Barr.) Afolabi Akinsiku (Send Me).
Senior state executive members present included State Chairman, Barr. Wole Ademoyegun; State Deputy Chairman, Bashorun Tola Alabere; Women Leader, Hajia (Yeye) Nike Fasawe; Organising Secretary, Engr. Dare Akinwale; Publicity Secretary, Ambassador Kunle Adeloye; Legal Adviser, Barr. Ola Amure; among other officials.
In his remarks, State Chairman, Barr. Ademoyegun, lauded the commitment and sacrifices of party leaders and supporters in Ondo West.
He maintained that the ADC stands as Nigeria’s most credible platform for transformational leadership and urged members to step up mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Administering the oath of allegiance to the new executives, Ademoyegun reminded them that their roles are a call to service and not an opportunity for personal gain.
He charged them to work in unity to strengthen the growth and progress of the party.
Speaking on behalf of the executives, the newly inaugurated Chairman of ADC Ondo West, Hon. Imoleayo Ogunbamerun, expressed appreciation to party leaders at the state and local levels.
He pledged that the team would work tirelessly to secure victory for the ADC across all elective positions in Ondo West and beyond in the 2027 polls.

• Mrs. Agnes Ogundeji – Women Leader
• Mr. Ayokanmi Fasoranti – Youth Leader alongside several others.
