The daughter of Nollywood actress Jumoke George, Adeola, has returned to Nigeria after going missing for four years.
Her return was made possible by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), following recent public concerns raised by her mother.
The situation came to light when Jumoke shared her pain during a podcast conversation with fellow actress Biola Adebayo.
She revealed that her daughter had been living with her grandmother in Ibadan and went missing after telling the family she was going to Lagos.
For years, there had been no contact, and her whereabouts remained unknown.
Adeola, who is now 41 years old, was eventually discovered in Mali. According to details shared online on Monday, May 19, 2025, she had been trafficked there.
Upon her return to Nigeria, she was received by the Chairman of NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
Also present were Biola Adebayo and actor Adeniyi Johnson, who supported Jumoke during the search and helped bring attention to the matter.
The reunion brings relief to Jumoke George and her family, closing a difficult chapter that lasted for years.
Authorities have not yet shared full details about how Adeola was found or the exact nature of the trafficking incident, but her safe return marks a major step forward for the family.
