Actress Biola Bayo Announces Separation from Husband

Renowned Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has publicly announced her separation from her husband, Oluseyi, revealing that they have been apart since April 2024 due to irreconcilable differences.

The actress shared the news on Tuesday afternoon via an emotional post on her Instagram page, which coincided with her birthday celebrations.

In the heartfelt message, Biola apologised to fans who may be disappointed by the breakdown of her marriage. She wrote, “I’m sincerely sorry, I wished it worked but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story. Please keep us in your prayers.”

She further disclosed the personal pain she has endured in the months following the separation, saying, “While I go about making other people happy in the day, my pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night for the past 14 months but I gain strength from Christ who loves me eternally and gave himself for me.”

Biola Bayo tied the knot with Oluseyi in April 2021. This is her second marriage; her first was to a UK-based man known simply as Ola in October 2012, but the union ended in 2014.

The actress’s candid revelation has drawn sympathy from fans and well-wishers, as she navigates this challenging chapter of her life.
