Nigerians kick as Governor Akeredolu says there are no Obedients in Ondo

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has said that there are no supporters of Labour Party’s Presidential candidate Peter Obi who are popularly called “Obedients” in Ondo state which he governs.

Akeredolu said this when presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited factional leaders of Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, to present his manifesto to them.

The Ondo Governor said the State was ready to deliver owing to his stand that power must shift to the South.

The Nation reports that Akeredolu, who was represented by his Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, also insisted that power shift must be to the Southwest region of the country.

Meanwhile, the statement credited to Governor Akeredolu has generated uproar on social media with mixed reactions from Nigerians.
