The candidate of the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general election for Makurdi/Guma federal constituency of Benue State, Mr Terhide Utaan, has described the APC as a 419 (fraudulently) party.

He gave this assertion on Friday while announcing his defection into the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Benue Peoples House in Makurdi, the Benue State Capital.

He said: “I’m leaving APC because I won’t continue to be a member of a 419 party which thrives on impunity and illegality.”
