COVID -19: Okunomo urges Ondo Citizens to pray for Akeredolu’s quick recovery

A frontline Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), in Ondo State, Banji Okunomo, popularly known as BBO, has wished Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu speedy recovery as he confirmed to the people of Ondo State being positive for Coronavirus(COVID-19).

Okunomo spoke through a telephone interview with Starnews NG on Wednesday.

While calling on the people to adhere strictly to the guidelines released by NCDC against COVID -19, Okunomo urged the good people of Ondo State to pray fervently for governor Akeredolu’s quick recovery.

“Notwithstanding our political affiliations, I sympathise with Governor Akeredolu who recently confirmed to the people of Ondo State that he tested positive for Coronavirus.”

“I pray for his speedy recovery. And I urge the entire state to pray fervently for governor Akeredolu’s quick recovery. May God lay His healing hands on him,”

“I advise those already in contacts with him to go for test and self -isolate. COVID-19 is not a death sentence when detected too early and treated in time, Okunomo said.
