3YearsInOffice: Akeredolu did not commission a single project in my constituency – Ondo Rep

  • Says Akeredolu siphoning money while the people foray in abject poverty

House of Representatives member, Hon. Kolade Akinjo, representing Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency of Ondo State, has said that governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu did not commission a single project in his federal constituency, despite spending a lot of money on frivolities in the name of celebrating 3 years anniversary in office.

The People Democratic Party (PDP) Lawmaker, made this known in a statement he made available to newsmen in Abuja, while criticising the funfair that allegedly trail the celebration of three years anniversary of the APC’s administration led by governor Akeredolu of Ondo State.

”It is incumbent to mention that no single project was commissioned in Ilaje and particularly in my Federal constituency that is the oil producing belt of Ondo State.

”All we see is comestic projects aimed at siphoning money while the people foray in abject poverty”, he said:

While advising the government to pay more attention to infrastructural development, Akinjo said the recent threat to a section of the ruling party in the State by governor Akeredolu, has given credence to the popular belief that APC does not have the interest of the people at heart.

Adding, however, that the government of Akeredolu who cannot mitigate the spread of Lassa Fever in the State, should have taken proactive steps against the spread of the deadly coronavirus, instead of engrossing in political coloration in a matter of less importance to score political points.
