Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has officially confirmed his romantic relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, setting social media abuzz with reactions.
According to Top newspaper, This revelation comes in the wake of his recent divorce from actress Annie Idibia, with the singer openly expressing his intention to marry Osawaru.
Speculation about their relationship had been mounting after 2Baba was seen at the Edo State Assembly and later spotted at a Lagos nightclub with Osawaru. Addressing the rumors, he took to Instagram to clarify the situation and defend Osawaru against accusations that she played a role in his marital breakup.
In a video statement, he said:
“I have seen so many false narratives and malicious nonsense since I made that post. Yes, I posted what I posted. Hon. Natasha has been dragged and labeled a homebreaker, but she had nothing to do with my marital issues with Annie.”
Confirming his feelings, 2Baba added:
“Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”
His declaration has since sparked intense discussions online, with fans and social media users sharing mixed reactions to the news.
